Fibromyalgia and leg pain. Everyone should know.

Now, most people with fibrous describe the “zone” of pain that radiates in adjacent tendons or trigger points. Often there is an involvement with a tendon, ligament or associated Trp (trigger point). This is what causes the pain to radiate or enlarge.
Take for example the sensitive points inside the knee. This area can extend, on average, 2-4 inches above and below the inside of the knee. So it really makes more sense to call this reference to an area of ​​pain, especially when it comes to work solutions. Yes, there are many tender points at the lower end of the fibrous body.
Certain activities of daily living (ADL) can aggravate fibromyalgia, leg pain
Examples of this are sitting for long periods standing in one place, shifting or changing weight while standing, driving, traveling, cleaning operations, etc.
The most severe pain in the leg can fibromyalgia? Trigger points, inactivity, loss of muscle mass, low back pain, sciatica, SI joint involvement, certain medications, colds / flu and more. The interesting thing about fibromyalgia – related leg pain is that it does not matter if you are standing, sitting or lying down.
The propensity for pain in the lower quadrant of the fibrous body increases because only the trigger points in the layers of muscle tissue and extremely sensitive areas are not directly related to an activity or exercise.
A sore leg results from fibromyalgia when strength and agility are lost.
The longer and more widely used leg muscle (also known as the sartorius muscle in the quadriceps) is responsible for much of our mobility in the lower quadrant of the fibrous body. Here in the photo beside hi-lited I have areas that cause most of the fibro pain in the lower part of the body.

Weakness and / or butter in hip abductors can also cause extreme stiffness and decreased mobility. Iliotibial band syndrome (IBS) can occur in athletes through repetition and overuse, but this painful condition is not uncommon for people with fibromyalgia.
Now is when there is some controversy. Does fibro worsen or are these areas / Fibro of the body getting weaker? Are you suffering from chronic myofascial pain at the top of fibromyalgia? This may be the reason why you feel that leg pain is worsening as there are many layers of trigger points in the lower part of the body.
One thing to keep in mind with fibromyalgia and leg pain is that any position to stay too long, such as sitting or standing can increase pain and trigger trigger points. The sensitive points will always be there on some level, but it’s the trigger points that are triggered by repetitive motions or that are in a very long position.
